The food truck debate still goes on

Here’s another good article regarding food trucks, this one from Baylen Linnekin at Reason magazine about food trucks.

This concerns the story of Dr. Claw (sure, he doesn’t quite run a food truck) in New York city, who combined performance art with food distribution (more so now than ever how appropriate is it to sell his lobster rolls as if he’s a drug dealer since he’s been shut down?), as well as others who actually run food trucks as well as brick-and-mortar restaurants.

And what I don’t get, which this article points towards, is why public officials are against generating more tax revenue.  Just doesn’t make sense, does it?
