B.R. Myers doesn’t make the greatest moral case in his article titled The Moral Crusade Against Foodies.
First off you’d have to accept being a carnivore as being immoral. And no doubt he’s certainly not lacking in the arrogance and sanctimonious nature he derides in foodies, but whatever, it’s actually kind of fun reading a vegan get his titties in a twist about Anthony Bourdain, Jeffrey Steingarten, Michael Pollan and the like. The fact that it took well over 10 years to offend a vegan to the point of writing something like this is a miracle in and of itself.
And while I get his point about gluttony, he doesn’t even make that argument well.
Anyway, if you have the time it’s an interesting read.
