International eating continues

Seems like that’s all we can eat at home now, or just about.

Erin wanted more banh mi so that was earlier in the week, while the past couple of nights we had shepherd’s pie.  I made individual ones that were pretty tasty.

And tomorrow I’m making pho – just got back from the Asian market in Cary with nearly all the ingredients needed (tripe, tendon, brisket, beef bones, thai basil and chilies, noodles, sprouts).  If it weren’t 3:30 already I’d make it for tonight that’s how badly I’ve been craving it this week (I’ve been reading Anthony Bourdain’s new book and he has a lengthy and pornographic description of eating pho while in Vietnam).

Tonight at least we’re eating something from closer to home – good old fashioned burgers with homemade french fries.
