Stage

In just about an hour I have a stage (pronounced stahj) at a tapas lounge, which is really a nice way of saying why don’t you come work for us for free.

I have to admit to some nerves, seeing as this could turn into a full-time gig, plus my externship, and this is really my first introduction to the industry.  But I’m much calmer than an hour ago, which is good.  I’m hoping my immediate availability helps me land the job (they have a party for 60 tonight and it sounds like they’re understaffed).

I’d rather this experience come sooner than later, and just think, in 9 or 10 hours it will all be over with.
